cvs extracare punch card offers are officially showing up in members' accounts! cvs first added rules for the new "extracare punch card offers" to its extracare terms & conditions in august 2026, and iheartcvs readers are now reporting that the offers are live. |
iheartcvs reader ireneY reports finding several punch cards in the savings section of her cvs account after receiving an email from cvs linking to them.
readers have reported punch cards for beverages, candy, digestive health, feminine care & lip products, each offering a freebie for completing the card.

what we know so far
according to cvs, punch card offers are available only to select extracare members and may vary by member and location. some may need to be activated before you start earning punches, while others may activate automatically after a qualifying purchase.
cvs describes different types of punch card offers, including offers that give you a punch for purchasing a qualifying item and offers that require qualifying shopping "trips."
depending on the offer, completing a punch card could earn extrabucks rewards, a free-item offer, or another reward.
cvs also says:
• for category punch cards, qualifying items must generally cost at least $.99 after promotions and discounts but before coupons are applied.
• cvs' general terms limit members to 3 punches per active punch card per day and 6 punches per active punch card during a rolling 7-day period.
• at least one live punch card offer we've seen instead describes the limit as 3 punches per punch card per day & 6 punches per punch card per calendar week, so check the terms of your individual offer.
• activated punch cards and punches generally expire after 90 days unless otherwise stated.
• rewards earned for completing a punch card generally expire 30 days after they are issued.
• qualifying pickup and delivery orders can count, subject to the terms of the particular offer.
• punches or rewards may be reversed if a qualifying purchase is returned or canceled.
how long do punches take to show up?
reader amybeth reports that her punch was credited very quickly. the new register touchscreen notified her that she'd earned a punch at checkout, and when she checked her cvs account about 20 minutes later, the punch was already showing.
we don't know yet whether punches earned at self-checkout update just as quickly.
what happens when you complete a punch card?
reader amybeth reports that after completing her beverage punch card by purchasing 3 qualifying beverages, she received a coupon printed at the register for a free beverage up to $3.
the coupon expires in approximately one month. amybeth also reports that her beverage punch card reset after completion, suggesting she may be able to earn another free beverage after purchasing 3 more qualifying beverages.
it looks like at least some punch card offers may be repeatable!
