Winona Ryder's CVS 'misunderstanding'

Actress Winona Ryder was arrested several years ago for stealing pricey goods from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. As a result, she was sentenced to three years probation and had to complete community service.

The National Enquirer claims Winona was leaving a CVS Pharmacy in Hollywood when the security alarm went off. Winona kept on walking. A security guard went after Winona and searched her bags.

He found make-up she didn't have a receipt for.

She apparently told him, "I don't know how that happened."

A store employee confirmed that Winona had the items. They said, "We took unpaid items back and she left the store."

only one cvs card is allowed per household according to this post on cvs's facebook page.

next, start earning extrabucks extrabucks are earned through promotions, such as "Buy X, receive $Y extrabucks." these promotions are advertised on cvs.com or shelf tags. extrabucks will print at the end of your receipt or appear in your extracare account, depending on your receipt settings.

The required amount to receive the extrabucks is always calculated before coupons. You do not have to buy all the products for that particular promotion in the same transaction or at the same store. a tally is printed on each receipt showing what you have towards each deal.

extrabucks can be redeemed on the purchase of nearly anything in the store - excluding prescriptions, alcohol, Gift Cards, lottery, money orders, postage stamps, pre-paid cards, tobacco products, & tax. extrabucks expire 4 weeks from the date they are printed.

you cannot get change back when you spend your eb's. however, they can be accepted for less than their face value. for example, your total (before tax) comes to $1.97 and you have $1.99 in extrabucks - if you don't mind losing the 2 cents you may choose to redeem it. the extrabucks value will adjust to the balance due before tax.
