ha ha! as some of you guessed, this was another april fool's day joke. but since many of you expressed interest, maybe cvs will consider it!

cvs is planning to launch a new loyalty program called cvs/platinum! a year's membership in the program will cost $39.99, but check out these perks...

♥ "platinum" e-coupons. these will be loaded to your card and discounts will automatically be applied when you purchase the appropriate products.
♥ each extrabuck offer you complete has a 1 in 4 chance of winning you double or triple extrabucks!
my (undisclosed) source says this program should launch sometime between june-august this year. they are still working on the details, so some of this information may change. i will add more information as i find out.
